The short answer
Buy an Android TV stick for one to three screens running standard content during business hours. Choose a Windows mini-PC for 24-hour operation, video walls or heavy video.
Android TV sticks
Sticks cost ₹3,000 to ₹4,500, plug into the HDMI port and take minutes to set up. They handle images, 1080p video, documents and web pages well. They are less suited to long 4K video loops or running around the clock.
Windows mini-PCs
Mini-PCs cost ₹12,000 to ₹18,000. More memory and better cooling keep them stable under constant load, including multi-zone layouts with several videos at once. Most include wired networking.
Check your TV first
Many Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV sets sold since 2020 run the ScreenZap player directly. Check before you buy anything else.
